I’m a product designer who designs around how people think and work.

My relationship with design began with a pencil. At my Doljabi, a Korean tradition in which a baby chooses an object that symbolizes their future profession, I chose a pencil from several objects. My mom took it as ‘destiny’, so for the next twelve years, I sketched and painted my way through childhood.

My background in traditional and fine art, specifically illustration, has led me to explore different forms of art. As I explored the various types of art, I started to discover a passion for design.

I'm drawn to the intersection of art and technology, where creativity meets innovation. My goal is to go beyond solving user issues, creating user friendly products that make a global impact while continuing to grow both personally and academically. I'm passionate about understanding the "why" behind user behaviors and turning those insights into simple + easy to use experiences.

My life aside from art and design consists of many things! For example, I for some reason love creating oddly specific Spotify playlists (I have 500+), spending time with my bichon frise, River, visiting National Parks, cheering for Michigan Football, and collecting blind boxes/trinkets. I am also a barista and I love making delicious drinks. It always makes my day when I get positive reactions from customers! 😊
